There is still lots of ice in Nicky's Nose Cove, Newfoundland. The winds are taking the ice back out into Green Bay. The pack ice was jammed tight into the Cove over the weekend during our latest storm of wind, snow and rain! The sun is starting to break through the fog and cloud this morning. The long range forecast is looking like we may be on our way to Spring?

Interrrupted breakfast this morning! The eagle must have been eating its prey on the ice in Nicky's Nose Cove, Newfoundland and then moved it to the beach. Scared the eagle away from the beach when going out to take pictures. It stood on a pan of sea ice before taking flight to sit in a tree high above the Cove. The other birds were taking turns diving at the eagle until it took flight and flew away. Watching to see if the eagle returns.
