Have you ever wondered what goes into the production of a show? Join us for this first of what we hope will be several introductory sessions on stagecraft. Lighting is an essential part of the theatrical experience and one that is often overlooked. Part science, part art, Lighting illuminates the action and sets the tone for shows of all sizes. Bill McLaughlin will share with you some basics on the KTG lighting plot, fixures and how to begin to design a lighting scheme. Bill is an industry professional with several decades of lighting and teaching experience. Bring a pencil, bring a friend! No experience is necessary, and all are welcome. Please send a quick message to Jennifer Neil at j.neil8525@gmail.com to express your interest or for more information!
