Killam has an abundance of recreational facilities and programs, which serve a wide population area. Many activities are centered in the Agriplex, a large multi-use facility located along Highway 13 Swimming Pool (Killam Regional Aquatic Centre):
Killam's Agriplex has an indoor competitive-sized salt water swimming pool with a new zero depth entry teach pool.  The pool is busy on a year round basis. Besides public swimming, a large number of programs are offered at the pool: Swim for Life lessons, adult lessons, parents & tots, competitive swimming, synchronized swimming, aquatic fitness, fitness swim, aqua-sizes, deep water workout, and senior stretches. Advanced programs offered include Bronze Star,Cross,& Medallion,National Lifeguard Services,and Swim for Life Instructor. School lessons are offered to 11 area schools. The pool is rented for birthday parties, youth groups, sports clubs, and company parties. A competitive summer swim club, the Killam Cyclones, operate out of the pool facility as well for ages 5 to adult.  This club holds an annual swim meet, as well as having hosted regionals with over 300 competitors

Arena:
A major part of the Agriplex is the arena, used for hockey, figure skating, power skating, free public skating & shinny (corporate sponsorship), school physical education, & an annual indoor rodeo. This artificial-ice facility with new ice plant is well-maintained, featuring heated seating, and renovated dressing rooms. Hockey is a major sport in Killam's entertainment life. The minor hockey program has Initiation, Novice, Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget Girls  hockey, as well as two Rec Hockey clubs.   The Killam Wheat Kings, a regional team, play in the North East Alberta Junior B League. The arena has also hosted Golden Bear Hockey Camps, Officiating Clinics, exhibition matches such as the CFCW Critters, and the Calgary Hitmen-Edmonton Ice, as well as age-group tournaments and provincials.


Multi Purpose Room:
Need a place to have a nice social gathering, meeting or luncheon?  This room has a capacity for 120 patrons, has a small kitchen with cooler and sink area.  Satellite TV and Projector with Screen is also available.

Family Resource Centre / Indoor Playground:
Recently opened by the Parents For Fun in Flagstaff  organization, the Indoor Playgound is a new feature for the Killam Agriplex.  The Family Resource Centre is charging a drop in fee or an annual membership is also available.  Jessica Docksteader is the Program Facilitator for the Resource Centre.  Bookings for Birthday parties or other special occasions are possible, for more information please call Jessica at (780) 385 - 2346 or email:  funinflagstaff@telus.net   Facebook Page:  Parents for Fun in Flagstaff

Centennial Park:
A variety of ages use the ball facility, with 3 softball/minor ball diamonds, and 1 baseball diamond, which is home to the Killam Braves Senior Baseball Team.  All diamonds are fenced with shale infields and grass outfields, and are all equipped with home/visitor dugouts and viewing stands.

Heritage Park:
Heritage Park is a great place to spend the day with the family, there’s something for everyone.  Have a picnic in the gazebo or go for a walk on our beautiful nature trail that not only runs through Heritage Park but also goes through Centennial Park and around the outskirts of town. There is also much more to offer such as a wonderful playground, horse shoe pits and bike and skateboard park.

March is just flying by which means Spring Break is around the corner. We are offering our Acclerated swimming lessons over spring break. March 26-29. Each level swims twice in one day. The success rate is very happy. Parents have been very happy with quality of lessons and the ratios of swimmer to teacher. As we prepared for last nights Atom Game and we were standing on the ice surface looking around. We were reminded on how awesome our small communities are!!! They support us daily.
