Dear Killam Pet Owners, Calls to the Killam Town Office regarding pets - both cats and dogs - roaming at large has significantly escalated with the warmer weather. This is a reminder that dogs and cats are to be contained on the pet owners property. When not on your own property, the pet is to be on a leash - and under the pet owners control. Excessive barking and noise, as well as roaming at large, are considered bylaw infractions, under which a pet owner can be fined! Finally, Dogs and Cats within the Town of Killam are to be LICENSED!
