MONDAY IS FAMILY DAY! There will be no Intermediate Karate on Monday, February 19. Spend some family time together, and then get back to training on Tuesday. Intermediate Students are invited to attend any other Junior class, during the week, for a male-up!

THE WINTER DOJO TOURNAMENT is coming up on Saturday, February 24, at the Dojo. Doors open at 1:15PM. Dragons will start at 1:30PM with Dragons kata & basics. Juniors will start about 2:15PM, with sparring to follow. Entry fee: $7 for kata or basics, only. $10 total with sparring. Spectators welcome - silver collection for the Dojo Scholarship Fund. ALL STUDENTS are welcome to participate. Regular classes will be held Saturday morning. Thanks!

KARATE STARTS SATURDAY! The Winter Session of karate resumes on Saturday, Jan 6. with Tigers at 9:15AM, 10:00AM & 12:30PM. Dragons train at 10:30AM, and Open Junior/Senior at 11:15AM. TINY TIGERS KARATE! Jump, balance, run, roll, weave and tumble! Tiny Tigers is a high energy activity for ages 3-5, focused on having fun with movement. Classes start again this Saturday, January 6. We have a few spots open in our group from 12:30 - 1:00PM. The fee is $75 (hst incl) and classes are held in the Greek Orthodox Church, on Brinkman Road, across from the Armouries. THE KARATE DOLLAR STORE IS OPEN this week, and fully stocked with all kinds of useful items for self-defence against diseases, viruses, obesity and stress. Make sure your Good Habit Checklists are turned in, so you can use your Karate Dollars to stock up on colourful, delicious fruits and vegetables. Karate is training for life!

CLASS NOTES FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY The dojo will be open on Saturday, November 11, and classes will proceed as scheduled. Dragons and Juniors will have a short presentation about Remembrance Day and observe 2 minutes of silence. If students have a short verse, poem or piece of artwork, they would like to share, they are welcome to bring it. Students who are attending Remembrance Day Services, and are absent from class, are invited to attend at any other class during the week. Please get in touch if you need the schedule for your age group.
