We love you mama! 1) How long have you been with Mamas for Mamas? I first joined the fb group when it was around 300 members large and was hooked on the movement immediately:) 2) When did you first meet Shannon? I can’t remember when I first met Shannon. I have a theory though that we may have be friends/sisters in past lives and quite possibly as Irish warrior princesses repeatedly over the centuries 😉 So understandably it will be hard to point to exactly when we met if this is the case. 3) Tell us one thing you love about being a mom? My favorite part of being a Mom is watching my children succeed in loving and being loved. Above all else I hope they all find great success in this. 4) What is something funny or unique about you? I spoke with a British accent for awhile as a preschooler, I’m the shortest of 5 siblings and I can bend my thumb to lay flush with my forearm. You asked for one, I gave you 3, that’s the kind of animal I am ;)

💞KARMA MARKET POLICIES & PROCEDURES EFFECTIVE MARCH 13, 2018💞 Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Karma Market and the limitless generosity of our community we have had to make some changes to our operating procedures. The high volume of shoppers and donators has put an incredible strain on our space and our volunteer mama-power. We are implementing these changes to ensure every mama in need receives a hand up and not just a hand out. Do understand these changes are needed for the continued success of the Market and to meet the demand of mamas who need to access our services. We thank you for your understanding and continued support. SHOPPERS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY : Access to shop at the Karma Market will be by appointment only. Appointments can be booked by emailing info@mamasformamas.ca and (once updated) also through our app. This will allow us to personally help each Mama and limit the congestion and hazards of operating at overcapacity in our small space. Appointment times are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Later appointments will be available on Thursdays for those who cannot make it in during the work day. DONATORS We can no longer accept used donations at this location. We ask that you instead donate your items on the Mamas facebook group, or bring to the monthly swap (This month it is on March 17th , 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at 1434 Graham St in Kelowna) or drop off at our community partner, the Women’s Shelter Thrift Shop located at #6-368 Industrial Ave Kelowna BC.
