Hudson Bay Aquatic Centre
Description
The Hudson Bay Aquatic Centre is a 25x15m, outdoor, heated pool that operates seasonally during the months of June, July, and August. The Hudson Bay Aquatic Centre was constructed in 1982 and is valued at over $400,000. In 2009 the pool received an upgrade and hot water solar panels were installed. The pool provides the community with structured programs from Red Cross and the Lifesaving Society for all age groups.
The Aquatic Centre offers seasonal and 12-session pool passes for families and individual swimmers. Seasonal and ten-class passes are also available for AquaFit and Lane Swim. All passes can be purchased at the Hudson Bay Town Office by calling (306) 865-2261. For other inquiries, please call the pool at (306) 865-2728.

Tonight there is free AquaFit and free evening public swim, sponsored by the KTHR community wellness initiative.
This week, as declared by the lifesaving society, is Drowning Prevention Week! We have tons of games and contests with prizes to be won. Come check out the pool to see all that is going on this week! From Monday-Friday, there will be a daily question, the answer to which is posted in the lobby among other statistics and prevention tips related to drowning. Today's question is: How many Canadians die per year from drowning-related incidents? A) 250 B) 500 C) 700 Come answer today's question at the pool and enter the draw to win some of our sweet prizes! Daily drowning prevention tip: Learn to swim! Lessons are available for all ages and skills levels. Adult lessons begin tonight at 9-10pm (it's not too late to register! This afternoon (July 14; 1-5pm) is FREE Public Swim sponsored by the Kelsey Trail Health Region. It was originally scheduled for July 7 but was postponed to today due to bad weather. We encourage you to take advantage of this promotion and add some activity to your day...come make a splash!
