The Hampton Visitor Information Centre, located in the old train station in the Town Square, will be opening for the season on Monday, May 15th. Spring hours of operation will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.

NEW TOWN OF HAMPTON BURNING PERMIT PROCEDURE: Please be advised that burning permits will no longer be issued from the town office. Beginning Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 permits for the burning of brush will be issued on Tuesday nights at the Hampton Fire Hall between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Applicants that receive a permit may renew these permits once for an additional 7-day period by calling the Fire Prevention Officer at 832-6094 Option 5. These permits are free of charge. Permits for annual fire pits may be requested any time by calling (506) 832-6094 Option 5 to arrange a planning site visit and a follow-up inspection if necessary. These permits are good for the entire year and may be renewed the following year by calling the Fire Prevention Officer at 832-6094 Option 5.These permits are also free of charge. TOWN OF HAMPTON EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SEASONAL PART-TIME LEISURE SERVICES OPERATOR I (ARENA) Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Leisure Services Operator I is an entry level role in the Leisure Services department. This part-time seasonal position will primarily work weekend shifts during the arena ice season averaging 20 hours per week from mid-August until mid-April. You will be assigned to the arena division with the duties of facility maintenance, customer service and equipment operation. As the ideal candidate, you possess a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. You are mechanically inclined. You must have the ability to work weekends. You are a team player who can work independently. You are honest, hardworking and customer focused. You are energetic, friendly and enjoy a solid day’s work. Arena training, certification or related experience is an asset.
