"An understanding of psychology, a touch for the maternal, and a capacity for looking at the world through the eyes of a child - these are the marks of good guides and teachers."—Arthur Lismer
This fall we've had picture perfect weather for paddling. The #Mattawa River, #Temagami, now the Spanish River. Hope you've all had the opportunity to get out and enjoy this colourful season...wherever you may be. #canoetripping #ontario #guideslife

Recipe for the ultimate adventure... Take 4 adventurous canoe trippers and cram all your belongings into one Jeep. Drive 3100km round-trip to and from Sept-lles Quebec. Take two ferry crossings in Tadoussac, then bounce along 578km of train travel to Shefferville. Hop into a canoe with all of your provisions and paddle 623km of lakes and rivers and portage 3km around waterfalls. Be humbled with monstrous tides, hordes of black-flies, crystal clear water, challenging rapids, and an endless panorama. Brave three different planes and one taxi trip to bring you all safely back to Sept-IIes. For a little added flavour, mix in 18 Bears, 2 Caribou, 1 Wolverine(that's right...Wolverine), 1 White Wolf, 1 Moose, 1 Fox, countless Eagles, Falcon, Song Birds and Fish. Let this all set for 26 days and mix together forming one EPIC lifetime adventure. #Nunavik #canoetrip #guideslife These are all the pictures I have, and they're all near or at the end of our adventure. More to come!!
Yoga and Wellness Canoe Trip (Only 2 Spots Left)
We had so much fun working with Trish Dingman Yoga last weekend in #Massasauga Provincial Park, we thought that we should do it again. Listening to your personal requests Trish and I have planned a new route into #Killarney Provincial Park which is sure to inspire. #soexcited #ontarioparks #canoetrip #ontariotourism

We've made it Kangiqsualujjuaq!! Tonight's camp is not nearly as breathtaking as the last 20, but we're snugged in beside the runway waiting for our flight out in the morning. What an epic journey it has been. This picture is of our camp last night on Ungava Bay in Nunavik. We enjoyed our last glass of wine soaking in the incredible views from the comfort of our WELL needed tundra tarp. #guidelife #canoetripping #nunavik
