The Vault Barbell Club athletes, Brandon Summers, Natasha Marie Dunn and Jeff Becker had a very successful CPU Nationals 2018 in Calgary, AB last week. Congratulations to Brandon Summers for securing Gold! Brandon is an M1 IPF Classic World Champ and multi-time National champ and now has another medal to add to his collection. Natasha Marie Dunn battled hard and achieved Silver! Natasha was coached by Mark Giffin and is hoping to compete at Worlds. Multi-time Master World Champ in Equipped and Classic, Jeff Becker competed in both the M2 Classic and Equipped events and scored Gold in both! Congrats to Kam Hughes and Garrett Bentley for having great meets. Both of these gentlemen spent time during their prep at the Vault where they fine-tuned the use of their equipped gear. Huge thanks to Matt Goldsmith. Matt was instrumental in theirs and others' success, running a Nationals Training Camp here at the Vault and, along with his Maverick Performance Solutions partner Austin Dorotea, coached 18 athletes in Calgary. Finally, CPU President and Vault owner, Mark Giffin, was on hand officiating for the week. With over 100 years combined powerlifting experience and too many awards to count, the Vault is the place to be in Ontario for equipped or classic lifting.
Brandon Summers, Aras Kvedaras from Active Relief Centre and Matt Goldsmith from @maverickperformancesolutions all working together in the warmup room at #2018cpunationals - also all Vault Barbell members 💪.
