Description
Welcome!
This account is run by Goderich Tourism and is used as a means to keep residents and visitors up to date on local events and information! Why is Goderich called Canada's Prettiest Town? Legend has it that a relative of Queen Victoria once visited Goderich and told her what a beautiful town it was, whereupon Queen Victoria stated, "Surely that must be the prettiest town in Canada!"

A message from the Goderich Youth Council: Hello friends and family of the Goderich community! Canada’s 150 is fast approaching, but did you also know it’s Goderich 190! As part of the big celebration, the Goderich Youth Council has partnered with the Goderich Public Art Committee for an interactive public art installation. We’re asking the community to answer one simple question, “what makes you proud of Goderich?”, it can be about the past, present or future. Also, post lovely photos of what makes you proud of Goderich with the “#MyGoderich” in the caption on Instagram. Click the link to answer the question https://goo.gl/forms/NCbw2GKUZ3VoFCAB3 Thank you!
