The triple jump, or hop, step and jump is a track and field sport technique.
After the sprint from the takeoff mark the athlete must land with the same foot as the one with which he/she has initiated the jump (hop). After this follows a step of the other foot, followed by the jump and landing.

RK Farm can best be compared to this sport technique.
The economical activity is the production of grain during which the habitat of human, animal and plant is taken into consideration as much as possible.
After the takeoff and first jump which has been made in the Netherlands (Wedde), where we grew potatoes and sugar beets, in addition to grain.
Afther this came the step which took us to France (Le Liège) where we landed on our other foot which resulted in the sole production of grain crops.
After long consideration we have decided to make the final jump and this landed us in Estevan SK, Canada.

Have we won anything? Not yet known, but what we do know is that with passion, effort and love for the agricultural life we live, work and keep following in our mind:

De hink-stap-sprong is een discipline in de atletiek.
Na een aanloop en afzet moet de atleet met dezelfde voet waarmee hij heeft afgezet landen (hink). Hierna komt de stap waarbij de atleet juist op de andere voet moet landen, waarna tenslotte de sprong en de landing volgen.

Met deze atletiekdiscipline kan de Ruiter-Kruize Farm het beste worden vergeleken.
De economische activiteit is het produceren van graan waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met de leefomgeving van mens, dier en vegetatie.
Na een goede aanloop en afzet is de hink gezet in Nederland (Wedde), waarbij naast het produceren van graan ook aardappelen en bieten werden verbouwd.
Hierna volgde de stap naar Frankrijk (Le Liège) waar geland werd op de andere voet door alleen maar graan te verbouwen.
En na een weloverwogen beslissing is uiteindelijk de sprong ingezet om te landen in Estevan SK, Canada.

Of er een medaille is gewonnen? Nog niet bekend, maar wel dat met passie, inzet en liefde voor het agrarisch leven wordt geleefd, gewerkt en rekening gehouden wordt met:
