The Town of Essex is located in southwestern Ontario, approximately 28 kilometres southeast of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower-tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The Town of Essex consists of four distinct and unique centres – Essex Centre, Harrow Centre, McGregor Centre and Colchester Centre. These unique communities are surrounded by a thriving wine and agriculture industry and boast a wide range of recreational facilities, an excellent school system, and affordable living options. The current population of the Town of Essex is 19,600.

Wed. May 24 - Meet with Councillors Bill Caixeiro and Larry Snively for the Ward 3 Spring Constituent Open House being held from 7 to 9PM at the Harrow and Colchester South Community Centre.
The playground at the McGregor Community Centre is getting a new rubber surface to ensure soft landings for children. It will be closed temporarily beginning Monday, May 29 but is expected to be closed for most of the week.

Happy Victoria Day! The Essex Recreation Complex is OPEN until noon! Programs include Adult Lengths 6:30-8:30AM, Aquafit 9:30-10:30AM, and Family Swim 11AM-12PM. Town offices are closed today but will reopen tomorrow.
