CANADA SELECT **** FOUR STAR RATING

Selkie Shores  is a beautiful, well equipped, four bedroom, three bathroom Beach House. Our waterfront property with everything you need for your PEI vacation has 1700 square feet of living space that comfortably accommodates two families.

Selkie Shores Beach House is located in Eastern PEI, 15 minutes from Cardigan at the Boughton Bay on a huge yard with 150 feet of shore frontage. There at the waters edge is plenty of room for family outdoor sporting events. The red sandy beach in front of the cottage or the nearby sandspit allows for swimming, kayaking, leisurely beach strolls, hunting for sanddollars or clam digging at low tide.

Out in the Bay you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the seals, hence the name Selkie Shores Beach House. Be sure to walk out onto the deck or to the beach at low tide. You should see lots of Selkies sitting on the sandbars.

When you awake early in the morning, watch the magnificent sunrise from the Master Bedroom or from one of the decks. In May and June you can see the lobster boats heading out to bring in their catch. Enjoy your morning coffee either on one of the decks or in the sunroom before heading off to explore the Eastern part of PEI.

Selkie Shores has awesome water views from every room. The views change daily depending on the weather and tide. Our  Beach House is a heaven for birdwatchers. Early on a calm morning more than twenty Great Blue Heron, can be observed, steps away from Selkie Shores. There is a wide variety of water fowl including Canada Geese, Cormorants, Sandpipers, Northern Gannets, Seagulls and many others. On windy days we often see Bald Eagles soaring the shoreline looking for food.

When you turn back to Selkie Shores Beach House in the evening, admire magnificent sunsets from the screened in deck, while enjoying home cooked Island fare.

Watch for shooting stars while sitting on the beach with a campfire, or even for the Northern Lights in a cold clear night in fall ( luckily admired from the upper deck in October 2012!)

Back home from your PEI vacation at Selkie Shores Beach House you will remember to a joyous place in which to restore  body and soul.
