The sesquicentennial totem “Clan Totem of our Nations” was unveiled in Station Street Park today and it is an amazing work of art by master carver Tommy Hunt Jr. Wonderful ceremony with blessings, dancing and a spirit of unity.
Get ready for the BIG reveal of the Sesquicentennial Totem Pole "Clan Totem of Our Nations" -tomorrow at 11am at Station Street Park.

Oops...missed an important downtown finalist for the Black Tie Awards! In the "Volunteer of the Year" category, Anne Balding & Claudia Roland are finalists for the "Meals on the Ground" program that provides meals to those who need more food security in their lives. Meals are donated by community members & groups and are served on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Duncan United Church 246 Ingram St. Apologies for the oversight...good luck Anne & Claudia!
