Nil8 is an alternative training club focusing on life specific, functional exercises. Our team will help you get the motivation you need & results you want Growing up I had a hard time with my body image. Always analysing what I didn't like or wishing for what I didnt have. This is a common issue amoungst most girls and one that can affect them for the rest of their lives. One day I decided I was tired of my negatve attitude so I changed my eating habits, joined the gym and focused on believing in myself. Following this, I entered my first fitness competition and became a certified personal trainer.
Already a makeup artist working in the beauty industry, adding fitness to my repertoire completed the package. In 2013 I did my second fitness competition coached and trained by Jay Cook founder of Nil8 Fitness. I immediately fell in love with his style and vison and decided to join his team. Being available to help coach someone on achieving goals that they thought werent possible is one of the most rewarding feelings!

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE vs DIET? 🤔 I believe and promote a balanced HEALTHY LIFESTYLE🍎. I encourage my clients to eat clean all week and continue to enjoy some of their favorite meals on the weekend!🍕 You shouldn't have to feel deprived or not be able to enjoy the food you eat day to day! LEARN To love fueling your body with the right delicious options! I LOVE FOOD there's no way I would ever give up fries🍟 and cheese🧀 forever! 🙊 but there was a time I would eat them 4-5x a week😐 SO I GET IT! It does take time to adjust but if you want to FEEL & LOOK better then you will make the changes! 🤗 DIET.... For me diet means a TEMPORARY meal plan that will allow you to achieve quicker results while still following a healthy plan. WHEN should you follow a Diet? I like to alter my clients meal plans when they have a specific DEADLINE 📆 Not just because they want to lose weight fast. If you're wondering why I don't, it's only because your body needs time to adjust to healthy lifestyle changes at a more slower pace first, if you SHOCK 😵 your body too fast the chances of you sticking to your new routine, weightloss and eating habits is SLIM😒 The PERFECT example : my client below!! She had already started cleaning up her way of eating before meeting with me so when she told me she has her ENGAGEMENT 💍 party in a few weeks as her first goal, her Vegas BACHELORETTE 👯 in 2 months and her WEDDING 👰🏼 in 5 months. I gave her the right information and diet options to follow in order to meet her first 2 GOALS ... 🚫Stop comparing yourself to others! When it comes to relationships, jobs, social statuses and physical appearance you should NEVER compare yourself to anyone! We tend to feel envious or discouraged when we witness other people's success stories. If your single and your friend is getting married... You think Why haven't I found someone? Your colleague gets promoted but you didn't ..why didn't I get considered? Your workout partner lost 10 lbs but you've only lost 3 so far......Why haven't I lose that 10? We constantly compare and feel badly about ourselves for no reason at all. By just reacting in a positive way to these examples like being happy for your friends or family members progress and support their success you will notice that instead of being envious or discouraged you will be happy and inspired! A positive happy person gains results and is productive much more than a negative unhappy person. Working with peoples' image and fitness goals I noticed it's very easy to be discouraged when you start looking at those around you and wonder why your results aren't the same. I like to motivate people by sharing success stories but I feel that this can be misunderstood as "comparing" . If "John" is doing amazing and I want to share his story with "Jack" it doesn't mean I want Jack to compare himself to John. Instead, I want Jack to recognize that hard work and focus does pay off to those that strive for results, I want Jack to be inspired not discouraged. Meanwhile, John could be comparing himself to "Jane" and her results when he should be focusing on his own progress! I KNOW I sound like I'm rambling on but it's just to encourage people to stop and pay attention to their own successes and see the amazing progress they've made in all aspects of their lives. 💗Love yourself more💗 #nil8 #fitness #healthylifestyle #motivation #progress #trainer

Staying FOCUSED on which muscles you're training will help your workouts be that much more productive! When you just go through the movements without the mind to body connection chances are your form is off and you aren't engaging the right muscles💪🏻 Whether you are training alone or with a trainer ask where am I suppose to focus on? That way you get to really FEEL each exercise and at the end you will feel ACCOMPLISHED and maybe dead lol 😂 like her ⬇️
