Nous avons appelle notre restaurant Bistro Nolah, un diminutif de Nouvelle Orleans, par amour de la cuisine reconfortante servie dans le sud des Etats Unis. Ce style de nourriture sera l’inspiration derriere certains plats qui seront servis chez Nolah.

We started out with excellent coffee and scrumptious mini muffins. I ordered a very special eggs Benedict with generously sized crab cakes serving as the base for a perfectly poached egg. The crab cakes were amazing with lots of perfectly done crab meat. The special potatoes that accompanied the eggs Benedict had a wonderful and moderately spicy flavour. There were 6 of us and all were singing the praises of Bistro Nolah. Every dish was on point and the service was impeccable. “REALLY Good” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 2 weeks ago Our family went Friday night and with all of us choosing different appetizers and main courses, we had a good selection from which to judge. Everything was totally deadly. This may sound exagerated but I was just hugely impressed. This restaurant is on the 'west island' not downtown and therefore may not attract too many typical tourists. But if you are reading this and you love amazing food, it is worth the déplacement. People on a Dorval airport lay-over, take note! Special mention to my main course: Marinated, freshly grilled octopus on a bed of thick, rich, wet black rice. I am still dreaming of the taste. The fried oyster appetizer was also otherworldly.
