In celebration of Recreation Therapy month, we decided to try adaptive wheelchair painting! This shows how therapeutic, fun, inclusive and adaptable art can be! The residents appeared to enjoy their first adaptive wheelchair art project! Looks as though we a few Jackson Pollocks at Tideview!👨‍🎨👩‍🎨🎨 The painting is currently drying and will be displayed in a day or two. 😀

VOLUNTEER WANTED: When: Monday, Wednesday, and/or Fridays Time: 2:30-4pm What can you help with? Resident Canteen Did you know that our residents run their own canteen? They sell chips, candy, greeting cards, chocolate bars and much more to both residents and staff! All proceeds go back to the residents! It would be wonderful to have a volunteer assist residents with setting up canteen and selling the items 😊 Please share this post with anyone you think may be interested! When you can’t go out to make a snowman, the snowman must come in to you! It doesn’t get much more authentic than snowmen centrepieces made of actual snow! brrrrrr ⛄️❄️ Thank you to our staff that go above and beyond each day!

Today is the day! Tideview's first ever hand crafted beer "Seaside Swagger" was started today! The residents actively participated with adding and mixing ingredients😊. They fun sharing stories and reminiscing today! 😀. A nice, light blonde lager is now fermenting! Stay tuned for bottling!

Thank you to the students and teachers form Digby Neck Consolidated school for bringing some joy and music to the resident yesterday!

Rosie the cat wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone on facebook!! She heard about all the nice people who shared her picture when she was missing earlier this year so she wanted to check out what this facebook thing was all about. She hopes you all have a wonderful holiday season but does hope this santa hat doesn’t find its way to her head again until next year 🎅🏼😸
