With the winter season in full effect, motorists are reminded to take caution to all and any emergency vehicle (fire, police, or ambulance) that are responding to an emergency call. � When approached from any direction by an emergency response vehicle that is sounding their alarm and flashing their lights, the following provisions are stated by The Highway Traffic Act: -Immediately clear the intersection if you are stopped at any signs, lights, or blocking the path of an emergency vehicle -Move to the right curb, or as close to the edge of the roadway as possible -Come to a complete stop on the side or edge of the road, and remain at a stop until all emergency vehicles have passed We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday season.
