The Newfoundland Insectarium & Butterfly Pavilion is an award-winning, interactive museum of nature. The Newfoundland Insectarium is an award-winning, interactive museum of nature. The facility features live and mounted insects and arachnids from around the world. Highlights include a tropical butterfly garden, observation beehive, ice cream parlor and themed gift shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff members are readily available to answer questions and allow visitors to get up close and personal with harmless insects. The museum is located in Reidville, Newfoundland, just outside Deer Lake.
We are now closed for the season and will reopen in late May 2016!
