Description
The Ladies' Auxiliary of Legion Branch 89 supports the veterans and community of Cochrane Ontario through many different activities. The Ladies' Auxiliary has many fund raising activities throughout the year, and funds raised locally are given to assist the local Legion Branches, health facilities and programs, school activities, and Bursaries. Also, sponsorship of Cadets, Girl Guides, and Brownies, as well as other charitable organizations. In many communities LEGION HOUSING has been built and is being maintained by the local Branches with assistance from the Ladies' Auxiliary in many cases. The Auxiliaries annually support local and Provincial Youth sports activities.
The Auxiliaries enjoy friendly competition within our Command such as Cribbage, Darts (Single, Doubles & Teams) & Euchre Tournaments.

The legion is not the lions club. Tv bingo issues go to Cochrane Lions Club at the library. Sorry folks. Please don’t yell at our volunteers. Also, you shouldn’t be yelling at those volunteers either. Mistakes happen and the lions will rectify it the best they can. Calm heads, warm hearts 💕 Ps, everyone who played at the legion was a winner! Except Gean. She should be mad. She didn’t win anything lmfao

Elections April 17 at 7:30pm. Must be a legion member to vote. You can submit recommendations via letter if unable to attend the meeting. Letter must be presented at elections and have your signature and contact information on it.
