Cobourg businesses reap benefits of Community Improvement Plan funds

DOWNTOWN VITALIZATION: Some exciting work taking place Downtown Cobourg! Ferreri Clothier and Cheslers Shoes applied for Downtown Vitalization Community Improvement Plan grants in 2016 and are bringing new beauty to their downtown businesses! If you own a building downtown Cobourg you may be eligible to apply for a 2017 Downtown Vitalization CIP grant. PUBLIC WORKS: The Town of Cobourg has installed a new school crossing on King St. east at Abbott Blvd. A crossing guard will be on site from 7:45am – 8:30am and 2:15pm – 3:00pm Monday to Friday to assist students walk to and from school. Thank you to Cobourg Police Service who were on site today to help inform all pedestrians of the new school crossing and direct people to cross at the corner of Abbott and King while the school crossing guard is on duty.
