2018 CHS Executive sworn in at the Jan.11 Luncheon Annual Meeting. OHA D8 Director led the official swearing in of officers.
Local Councillor Bell and his wife attended the CHS Potluck. Mr.Bell expressed his thoughts and thanks to the guests and helpers.
Door prizes won by draw. Everybody at the Potluck dinner had a chance to put their name in the box.
Local Musicians entertain at the Annual Christmas Potluck held at Klages Hall. CHS provided the turkey and trimmings. Members brought potluck main dishes and deserts. It was a feast. The music before and after dinner was enjoyed by all.
Total donated gifts for the Parkview Manor. Sufficient that each resident in the care centre could receive a gift on the 25th. Thanks to Pres. Eleanor Huffman for creating this idea for gift sharing. Secretary Elaine King delivered them to the facility this morning Dec.6 which is St.Nicholas day
We will be at the Lifestyles Fair at the Community Centre in Chesley today from 11:00 to 3:30. Stop and say hello. Come by and see who else is there, it promises to be interesting with lots of helpful information being shared.
Thank you Carolyn from Memorable Designs for sharing different table decorating ideas for Thanksgiving at our monthly meeting.
Tuesday, Oct 3, 7:00 pm Klages Mill, besides the mini auction to raise funds for our club, Memorable Designs will be doing a demonstration. Their flower arrangements are always beautiful. Everyone is welcome. Come and support Chesley Horticulture Society so we can "Keep Chesley Blooming" next year.
CHS Tulips are On Order - The town markers, hospital bed, Elliot park will receive spring tulip bulbs. Cenotaph will have additional red tulips planted in the two beds. Bulbs to arrive first week of October.
Leaves are changing colour even though its more like summer.
