Does it look like less than a month to opening?? Where is spring hiding?

It's not very often I wake up April 8th and fondly remember the warm, sunny days of February!

For Rick and I, April 1st is when our camping season really starts! (We try to have our inside work completed at this point...of course it never is... ) It is when our office re-opens (Jennifer will be here Tuesday!!), the snow melts and we can get the outside work done again, and sometime this month it will be warm enough to turn the water on and clean-up can begin!!! For those asking about road conditions this spring, we will be blocking off the gate if the roads are too soft to drive on, but if you do come in when the gate is open, please use your own judgement. Please do not drive on the grass around a wet/soft area on the road...the grass will likely be even more wet than the road - and much harder to fix! Currently, the back hills have too much snow to drive on - but when the roads are still frozen you can go most of the way back. And for those on Cedar Lane (sites 15-21), please consider your road closed at the moment. You will notice we are digging it out to make it a real gravel road. (Yay!!!!) 30 days and counting until opening!!!

It's SPRING!!!! Happy Spring Everyone!!! [pause while I do a quick happy dance!] Wow - before we know it camping season will be here! Just a little reminder to our seasonal campers to ensure that they send in their confirmation for opening dinner! Feel free to send to the camp address and I will put it in the volunteer committee mailbox. If you need a new form for this - let me know.

We are looking for new ideas for ladies crafts on Friday mornings from 10-12 A.M. If you have a new craft idea and would like to share with us please drop by the store on Friday mornings next season. All ideas are welcome. Ladies crafts starting May 4th, 2018. (Men welcome)
