The Culinary Institute of Canada, located at Holland College's Tourism and Culinary Centre on the Charlottetown Waterfront, has provided culinary and hotel and restaurant management training since 1983, and is regarded by many as the premiere culinary school in Canada. Students are drawn from around the world to the institute, where they have the opportunity to enjoy the unique cultural experience of Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada while at the same time developing the necessary skills to launch a successful career in the food and hospitality industry.

Wow! Only four days in, and the demo is well underway!
The Culinary Institute of Canada’s dining establishments closed on Saturday, April 29, for six months. The Lucy Maud Dining Room, the Institute’s fine dining restaurant, and the Montgomery Cafeteria, will undergo significant upgrades during a $7.5 million renovation and expansion. We will re-open to the general public in November 2017 with a fresh new look, and vastly improved facilities for our students to receive the best culinary education in Canada. The renovation and expansion to The Culinary Institute of Canada was made possible by investments from the Federal and Provincial governments, and a capital campaign led by the Holland College Foundation, called Nourish.
