This Healthy Recipes cookbook created by the Cree Health Board many years ago was made available at our Diabetes Conference last year. They are well written in Cree & English. If you are interested in a copy, drop by and see us at the Band Office - Social Development department (see Leeanne, Karen or Minnie) Let the elders know that this is available if they're interested, we can take one to them.
We have a workshop scheduled tonight at the Band Office from 6pm to 9pm. Don't miss out! It's called Prevent it! Designed to equip parents and caregivers ~ sexual abuse prevention. The workshop is brought to us by Little Warriors. Let us be proactive! Sign up with Leeanne Bosum because there is limited space. See you there.

Ouje only. We are exploring options to host a "Marriage and Family Life" conference, perhaps early February 2017. What location would suit you (and your mate)? Make your vote count. Ouje? Chibougamau? Chicoutimi? Or Wendake? We have some shopping around to do for the right venue.
Wellness Department is looking for a replacement from now until Christmas. send us an email at minnie.wapachee@ouje.ca to inquire about it.
