As elections get closer, old records such as this photo scanned from the original become more interesting. Take notice of the two boxes in the corner of the photo. It's interesting to note that we also had an official "Corn Borer Inspector" Notice the number of schools Kent County had. By todays thinking , that many schools would have pushed taxes to the moon. But back then it didn't. Also if we had an official Corn Borer inspector today, the pay would probably be 150G plus.
