Beaverlodge Elementary School
Description
BES is a K-6 elementary school, located in Beaverlodge Alberta. Beaverlodge Elementary School serves approximately 350 students ranging from Early Intervention (3 and 4 year-olds) to grade six. Approximately 52% of these students live within the community of Beaverlodge and the other 48% are bused to the school from the surrounding area. Early Intervention programming is available through the Beaverlodge Playschool & Beaverlodge Day Care for 3 and 4 year-old students identified for early entry to school. Three ECS classrooms operate within the school. Two programs run two full days per week and the third program runs M-TH mornings. Grades one to six usually have two or three classrooms at each grade level. An inclusive special education program is offered to assist students with special needs. ESL programming is now available to support the 51 ESL students now attending our school.
The school employs approximately 20 teachers, 3 support staff and 12 teaching assistants. The physical plant consists of 18 regular classrooms, a special education/speech room, a library, a gymnasium, a computer room, a speech room and a music room.

Many hands make light work (well in this case 2 extra hands!). Every month, Tristian Nichols helps Mr. Cincurak do up the school sign. On a day like today that is no easy task!. Thanks so much Tristian for working along side me and helping to promote our school events!
