Description
Core Fitness Club is a community that promotes women’s health and well-being through physical fitness, education, and professional services.
At CORE Fitness Club, members who actively and regularly participate in our health and wellness programs will experience improvements in physical well-being as well as joy and contentment. As a result these women will feel genuine self-confidence that will support them in achieving life long benefits in body, mind, and spirit. Participants will embrace their lives with purpose and value. Members will be leaders in creating lasting and meaningful relationships that promote total well-being and care for self and others.

With compassion for all ages and abilities, CORE Fit adapts and integrates fitness services to meet the varied needs of our diverse population. Each member is recognized and appreciated for their uniqueness, and is treated with care and respect. Education and seminars promote health and wellness, relaxation, and total well-being. Community fundraising initiatives allow members to work together towards supporting local and international initiatives that foster wellness for the global population.

WICWC - The place to turn when cancer affects your life
CORE and Bluewater Oracle will be at the Spring into Wellness Fair for the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre. April 9 at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire. Hope you can stop by for a workshop or just to visit the exhibitors who support the Centre. « FOIRE PRINTANIÈRE DE LA SANTÉ ET DU BIEN-ÊTRE » pour le Centre de bien-être pour personnes atteintes du cancer du West Island. Did you see our new Yoga Class time? Sibeal is looking forward to starting her second yoga class at CORE Fitness 8pm on Tuesdays - yes it starts tonight!! It's by donation, any and all levels welcome. :) Venez essayer notre nouvelle classe de Yoga avec Sibeal. Elle commence les mardis à 20h ce soir! C'est payable par un don et tous les niveaux sont bienvenus. :)

Renew your commitment to your health and well-being! This is a time of year when many people think about renewal, rebirth, and rejuvenation. Is it time for you to rejuvenate your health and wellness? Look ahead at your week and plan when you will bring in active times! Remember that they are training for all your daily living activities! Even if our club is closed today (Monday) to celebrate with family and friends, it does not mean we all need to be inactive! Get out for a walk, put on great music for a dance fitness session, practice the yoga and qi gong you have learned at the club, and laugh - lots and lots of laughter - does the abdominals good! Then come in to CORE during the week for support and smiles, to work on your personal challenge, and to renew that commitment to you! See you soon! Renouvellez votre engagement vers votre santé et bien-être! Ceci est un temps de l'année quand on pense sur les idées de renouvellement, renaissance et rajeunissement. Est-ce que c'est le temps pour vous de rajeunir votre santé et bien-être? Regardez votre semaine à venir et planifier c'est quand vos moments actifs! Même si notre club est fermée aujourd'hui (lundi) pendant que nous célébrer avec nos familles et amis, ceci ne veut pas dire qu'on a tous besoin d'être inactif! Sortez pour une marche, mettez la bonne musique pour une session de la danse aerobique, pratiquez le yoga et qi gong que vous avez appris au club, et riez - rire énormément - ça fait du bien pour les abdominaux! Ensuite nous voir à CORE durant la semaine pour le soutien et les sourires, pour travailler sur votre défi personnel, et à renouvelleer cette engagement à soi! On vous voit bientôt!

Nutrition Month 2016
Bring healthy nutrition & eating habits onto your wellness team! March is Nutrition Month! Make a small, nourishing change and stick with it, one meal at a time. Tips: Fill more of your plate with vegetables. Keep track with a food journal or food tracking application. Meal ideas: Quick breakfast = Blend frozen berries, yogurt, and milk for a super smoothie. Make it even better with baby spinach and ground flax. Cooked breakfast = Make a burrito with scrambled egg, lentils or soft tofu, sautéed red pepper, avocado and salsa wrapped in a warm tortilla.
