Relax in the tranquil atmosphere of this restored heritage property with its eclectic blend of antique, modern and re-purposed furnishings.  Surrounded by fine art, music and books, each suite is spacious, unique and beautiful.   Come melt away in a secluded massage therapy tub, under 14 ft tin ceilings, pondering a display of original artwork and sipping on your favorite drink. Wonder through the sculpture gardens, curl up with a good book before the fireplace and breathe in space, light and creativity.

Great care was taken to preserve the heritage features in the conversation of this former school into a home, studio and Gallery. Originally opened as a private school in 1811, only to be conscripted by the British Militia in the War of 1812, this is a provincial historical site with many tales to tell.

Nestled in the Historic Village of Bath, explore the waterfront, countryside and vineyards and enjoy our great restaurants, and shops. We are adjacent to the Loyalist Golf Course, and between Kingston and Prince Edward County. Rain or shine something is waiting for you to explore.  It is a great place to walk and bicycles are available for more adventurous guests.
The Master Suite is on the first floor across from the Parlour. It has a queen sized bed in a grand room with lots of storage space. Sharing with the Study guest, there is a 4 piece on suite bath with glass shower and secluded air jet massage tub.


With over 700 sq. ft., under 14 foot ceilings and its own private balcony overlooking the English perennial gardens, the Gallery Suite is the largest. Nestle in the separated queen sized bedroom and enjoy your own kitchenette, dining and lounge space.

The Study set with twin single beds is the most rustic with wood ceilings, exposed bricks and 12 ft Norfolk Pine tree. A wall of books and music awaits your discovery.  

In her 18th year, the cat, Konomi, is a friendly creature typically found in close proximity to your host, Janice Teare. Check in is 4:00 pm, check out 11:00 am. Longer stays, particularly artists seeking an art residency, are welcomed.
