MOVIE NIGHT “Keeping Mum” starring Rowan Atkinson and Maggie Smith. 7 p.m. tonight Rowan Atkinson is an absent-minded pastor of a rural church who is so distracted by the pressures of his job that he fails to notice his wife’s dalliance with her brash fold instructor (Patrick Swayze), his daughter’s parade of new boyfriends, and his young son’s regular trouncing by the school bullies. Enter their charming new housekeeper Grace (Maggie Smith), the answer to the family’s prayers: a sweet old lady with her own distinctive definition of cleaning house – and a very unusual way of solving problems.
The rink at City Hall has been closed due to the weather so we will meet at St Margaret's for a games night. Amy will pick up snacks and Jenn is making hot chocolate. We have board games but please feel free to bring your own for more selection. Let's have indoor fun. All are welcome

Youth Group – Ice Skating Please join us on the 12th of January for ice skating at the open-air rink at City Hall. Meet at City Hall at 6:30 to be done by 8:30. You will need to bring your own skates. If you have a spare pair, please bring them for folk to borrow. Please talk to Father Simon for more details.
ACTORS NEEDED Come one, come all Auditions are tomorrow January 4th starting at 7 p.m. FOR OUR NOTTAWASAGA DEANERY PLAY 15 actors, 7 men and 8 women, ranging in ages 25 to 100 are needed to take part in a play. “Get What You Need” by Jackie Bennett is a new two act comedy about a church who hires the Rolling Stones to raise funds for a new roof. The premiere of this play will take place May 12, 2018 at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church in Barrie. Auditions are the first week of January and are open to anyone who is a member of any of the Anglican churches in the Nottawasaga Deanery. No experience is necessary.
