🌱It may be spring (despite the snow!), but the Christmas Cheer team is still working in the background, preparing for our 2018 campaign. 🙌And so are the incredible community members and corporate sponsors that support us each year. We recently had our annual sponsor appreciation night at Jack Astor's Bar and Grill in Barrie. 👏Without our partners, we wouldn't be able to do what we do each Christmas season, so a HUGE thank-you to all! #ChristmasCheer , on behalf of our +/- 1700 benefitting families, would like to thank all our 1300+ volunteers, 16 wing, Lions Club, our multitude of corporate sponsors, our board members, the stores that acted as toy drop off locations, local councillors and MP's, OPP, Barrie and Auxiliary Police, #Rock95, #CoolFM and the continuous support from 931 Fresh Radio and 101.1 BIG FM. You should know that we are officially so close to our $250,000 goal that we are declaring it a 'done deal'. Congrats to you all and a huge thank you from us, we couldn't do it without you. A glimpse into what the elves have been up to at Christmas Cheer!

We are so grateful to our neighbours Southmedic Inc. They have been quite understanding as we spend 6 weeks or so loading toys, food and everything else needed to run Christmas Cheer into the warehouse next door, and helpful in planning how to get 1,700 families in and out of our shared parking/loading area during our distribution days. AND to top that off...today they showed up for a visit with a cheque for $10,000! A huge thank-you to the management and staff at Southmedic Inc!

Santa and his #1 elf took time off to visit with us today. Apparently all is ready to go at the North Pole!

This beautiful Canadian Girl doll from Maplelea Girls was generously donated (along with accessories) to Christmas Cheer. ✨We would like to thank them for their generosity - every donation allows us to make a difference in the lives of children within our community this Christmas!
