For over 30 years the Arnprior Figure Skating Club has been teaching young people to skate. The "CanSkate/CanPower" program was developed by Skate Canada and ensures that learning to skate will be an enjoyable activity for children.
Over the last few years, the number of young children registering for Arnprior's CanSkate has increased substantially. The "CanSkate/CanPower" program was developed by Skate Canada and ensures that learning to skate will be an enjoyable activity.
The Arnprior Figure Skating Club is a registered club of Skate Canada. We are a non-profit organization run for the benefit of its members. All programs provided meet a specified standard set by Skate Canada. Our professional coaches are certified by Skate Canada and train our amateur coaching assistants to assist with our on ice instruction.

Battle of the Blades
Come to our annual Battle of the Blades event at the Nick Smith Centre on Saturday 1st April. Starts at 7pm. Tickets are available from the Nick Smith Centre or you can purchase at the door on the night. $10 a ticket, children under 6 are free. Its a great evening where figure skaters and hockey skaters team up to dance together on the ice. Raffle and 50/50 tickets available for purchase. Raffle prizes - booze basket, Stars on Ice tickets, Voucher for any programme offered at the Nick Smith Centre.

It was great to be able to photograph the skaters again this Year by Marsh Photographic. We took group images as well as individual so if you didn't get a chance to order then we will be emailing this week with details of images! Thanks to everyone who participated in the Ice Show.
Still have electronic waste to get rid of? We are still at the Nick Smith Centre until 1pm today! Don't miss out! We are located near the far side of the car park in a black trailer. Have an early spring clean!
Today from 4pm-7pm and tomorrow from 9am-1pm, come and drop off your old/unwanted/broken electronics for recycling. Just bring them to the Nick Smith Centre during the times above. Its a free service. We are also collecting bags of unused clothes as well so get rid of everything at the same place! Please pass this post along to share with your friends and family.
As part of the Arnprior Figure Skating Club fundraiser, we have the following Little Caesar Pizza Kits for sale: 15 Pepperoni Kits - $26 each 5 Chessy Bread - $22 each 3 Crazy Bread - $19 each Let me know if you would like to buy any kits, they are being delivered to the Nick Smith Centre and can be collected from there between 4.30 - 6.30 tonight. Cash or cheque taken If you can't get there tonight, then I can deliver within Arnprior or Braeside today or tomorrow.
