Our guest panelist Sheikh Moutasem al-Hameedy shares his insights after being a part of the Key Conference 2018: Muslim Youth Speaking for change. Muslim youth spoke on diverse issues like Racism within Muslim communities, Understanding Moderation in Islam, Reconciling God's justice and perceived evil etc.

It was a year ago, on 29th Jan 2017, that 6 innocent lives were lost to hate and ignorance, and many others injured in Quebec. It was an incident that shocked our nation, but at the same time, it brought thousands of us together in solidarity against hatred and Islamaphobia. We pray that no one has to go through such experience ever again and that we can all embrace one another for our humanity, despite our differences in matters of belief. This event hopes to achieve that.
