We had a visit today from NSCC Kingstec Campus Horticulture faculty legend Tim Amos in his final days before retirement. He was visiting his last group of students on their work-term. Our Conservation Horticulturist Melanie Priesnitz first started at the Botanical Gardens during her work-term as one of Tim's students in 2000. She's thrilled to be hosting Cherry and Cody this year and has enjoyed mentoring many NSCC students over the years. All the best in retirement Tim - we know there's still much gardening to be done in your future!

A for Adventure

Something about sleeping in a tent in the great outdoors makes kids smile (S'mores often have the same effect!) We hope to see smiles like this at Adventure On! Family Nature Day! Good luck on Parliament Hill A for Adventure 😀

If you don't get outside and enjoy spring you'll miss it! After not visiting this section of the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens in a few weeks I was surprised to walk into a lovely show of white trilliums this morning! A great way to start a cool May morning.
