** For Sale - Bentley R type 54 ** This R-Type is finished in its original midnight blue colour with light grey leather interior. From the registration book released by Newbury Motors LTD, the car has the registered N°POF 101, with chassis number B-90-XF and engine B-45-X. The car was first registered in Birmingham on the 12th of July 1954 before being dispatched to The Great Bridge Foundry LTD in 1958 who kept the car for seven years and then sold it to Mr Larkins from Bewdly, Worcestershire, who owned it for more than thirty years. This Bentley was transferred to the European continent in 1998. The car is in a very good condition which is largely due to Mr Larkins, who in 1987 had extensive work done and in particular the gearbox and the motor. The works they completed is too long to list but they kept detailed notes and invoices which remain with the car. In addition to this, the car had new exhaust and adjustment of the engine was made. The car comes with a complete set of original tools, sundry bills, original log book, the Bentley Drivers Club documents, owners’ handbook and workshop manual. This is a lovely example of these elegant and usable Bentley including a sunshine roof, which is on the button and ready to be enjoyed !
