A few rule changes in 5.0 Fighting; there are now no punches to the head, only ridge hand and conventional or sighted spinning back fists, sides of head only. Also contact is now described as 'controlled heavy contact'. We will be running rules familiarity sessions shortly and revised rules will be available asap. Don't want to fight? The Burgerschool in Roeselare, Belgium held a visitorsday. The visitors could join several workshops. One of the workshops was Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0. The teacher was Andy Verschoote. He is a blue belt of Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0 Oostkamp.

The City of Las Vegas will proclaim next Friday, May 13th Jeff Speakman Day! Carolyn Goodman (mayor of Las Vegas, Nevada) will make the proclamation at 5pm on Fremont Street, downtown Las Vegas. There will be a demo team performing, made up of senior Black Belts along with Mr Speakman.
