The objective of Open-Teck is to combine the newest technologies to be able to offer on measure services to other freelancers or SME's (Small and Medium Enterprises). This alliance of technologies opens a wide variety of possibilities to the customer : websites, custom multi-platform applications, coaching and consulting.

Open-Teck is founded on the Open Source philosophy, which is a warrant of transparancy and community sharing. Indeed, the services provided are mainly focused on programs that are published under the GNU GPL licence (or derivated). The greatest advantages of such a way of working are, for example, the fact that Open Source programs have lesser flaws in their code as a whole community is often actively participating in improving it. Also, there are much less possibities of hacking and viruses.

Open-Teck is also very attentive to respecting the environment and avoid wastes thanks to the implementation of the LEAN philosophy, for example by using process analysis techniques to reduce the amount of movements or travelling. A simple way of starting to reduce wastes, something that everyone could do, is by reducing the speed of driving on the highway : 80-100 km/h maximum would be a decent speed to avoid consuming too much fuel and produce too much CO². This is a win-win relationship with the environment. This is how we think : simple and efficient.

The main partners Open-Teck is working with are freelancers seeking for a better visibility on the Internet and would like their business to grow. Open-Teck is also working with the non profit organizations in the field of education, health, sports and culture by helping them to analyze their processes and offering them the best hardware and software solutions so they can reduce their costs and increase the quality of their services to the population.
