The Czech Centre Brussels is actively promoting the Czech Republic by showcasing Czech culture in Belgium. We offer collaboration in wide range of fields. The Czech Centre Brussels is a cultural institute of the Czech Republic based in Belgium. Our aim is to actively promote the Czech culture in Belgium. In order to reach the wider audience the Czech Centre collaborates with Belgian institutions such as cinemas, concert halls, festivals, galleries etc. - each of our events is thus held in different place. Our program covers film screenings, plays, concerts, exhibitions, conferences and others.

Nevíte, o čem mluvíme? Přijďte do bruselské CINEMATEK - vítáni jsou všichni studenti češtiny s jakoukoliv úrovní znalosti českého jazyka – od začátečníků po pokročilé (film s francouzskými titulky). ................................................... Až přijde kocour (Vojtěch Jasný) Po příchodu kouzelníka a jeho kočky s brýlemi je náhle vesnice vzhůru nohama. Kočičí oči zbarvují vesničany podle jejich charakteru, a tak odhalují jejich pravou povahu. In the times when travellers, especially young ones, try to put emphasis on authenticity of their holidays by discovering favorite spots of locals and taking part in local initiatives, there are still places that feel (to certains) deprived of "everyday life". An intiative by Czech artist Kateřina Šedá wants to change the life in town of Český Krumlov, much loved by tourists but often visited just for a day trip from Prague, by inviting people to do everyday tasks (kids playing in the streets, mums having a stroll in the park, elderly sitting on benches..). The project will represent the Czech republic at the 16th La Biennale di Venezia #BiennaleArchitettura2018.
