Sometimes downtempo and haunting, other times whirring with energy, 110 make atmospheric, trippy instrumental music based around sampled loops. The band members - comprising Timo Carlier on guitar, Daniel Ruiz-Cecconello on synths and Alex Meynen on drums - present structured improvisations built around midi-synced synthesizers and live instrumentation. Influences and references range from Moroder to Joy Division; Steve Reich to Causa Sui; Daniel Lanois, The Ozric Tentacles and Kraftwerk.
