A big thank you to Rockwood Initiative and Portland Road and Driveway Co., Inc. for this great jobstory! ____________________________________________ Portland Road and Driveway Co., Inc.: We are very proud to have participated in this great neighborhood project. As some of you may know, the old outdoor roller hockey rink (which used to be four tennis courts) at Vance Park is being converted into two futsal fields. Thanks to our recent partnership with Rubble Master, we demolished 900 tons of existing asphalt, crushed it on-site, and reused it as the new base. This recycling option saved the project thousands of dollars and eliminated the need for 900 tons of new rock. After recycling the asphalt, we graded and paved the fields and then backfilled the perimeter with topsoil, which was also screened and recycled at our Clackamas yard. We are very proud of this project and the decision to enter the into the world of recycling. Thank you to everyone that allowed us to be involved in this project!
