Accessibility to the Yeppoon Lagoon will be made even easier for people with a disability after a new aquatic wheelchair was kindly donated by The Rocks Yeppoon, Cafe! 👍😄 The generous donation will provide easier access to residents and visitors who may need assistance entering the water. Reminder - as of tomorrow Monday 10 June the lagoon will be open from 8am-6pm seven days a week. Winter is stunning on the Capricorn Coast, so come down and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

New winter hours are coming into effect on Monday 10 June. The lagoon will now be open 8am-6pm daily, but don't worry, you will still be able to grab your morning treats from The Rocks Cafe from 6am! ☕️🍪

Council would like to advise motorists and lagoon users, that car parking bays in the Yeppoon Lagoon precinct will be closed from OVERNIGHT from 6pm – 6am on Tuesday 21 May and Wednesday, 22 May (weather permitting). The closure is necessary to facilitate Smart Parking works along Lagoon Place and Anzac Parade, across from the Keppel Bay Sailing Club. We kindly ask motorists not to park in these areas during this time, and thank you for your patience. Reminder that there is parking located in the Yeppoon Town Centre Carpark and along Anzac Parade and surrounding streets to cater for this interruption.
