Description
Community hall where weekly recreational classes and one-off communtiy events are held The Queen Street Community Hall Yeppoon, is a heritage listed building, managed and maintained by the Yeppoon Recreational Youth Club (YRYC) Inc.
As custodians of the hall, YRYC Inc. enables private individuals to hire the hall to host weekly classes such as yoga, dance and karate (please see the 'What's on at the Hall?' section of our website for the current weekly timetable).
YRYC also facilitates the hire of the hall by community groups interested in holding one-off community events and fundraisers. These events are commonly promoted in the 'News' section of our website. As a neutral community space, the hall is not available for hire for personal, political or religious purposes.
YRYC Inc. is a not-for-profit community organisation and hire fees go back into the cost of running the hall. The organisation also holds fundraisers and applies for grants to make improvements to this community facility

Nii Armah and Sam Okoth gave an absolutely amazing performance last night at the African Grooves evening at Queen Street Community Hall! Don't forget they are doing two workshops today. Drumming at 1:30, Dance at 4 PM. Call 0407 847 327 to book! Thank you Chantelle James for bringing these guys to town, thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped sell food and drinks to raise funds for the hall. And thank you to everyone who came out and supported touring musicians in Yeppoon!!!
