ARTE SUAVE - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Primal Conditioning, PT, Indoor Climbing. Arte Suave meaning, “the gentle art” in Portuguese, was created in October 2014 with the primary objective of providing a holistic combination of fitness, health and mindfulness to the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Our philosophy is to provide you with all the tools necessary to enhance your growth as an individual and martial artist.

Arte Suave features:
•   A flexible timetable allowing individuals and families to train together, during or after work hours.  We are always looking at ways to add to and improve our classes to suit members.
•   Facilities to make life easier for those with busy lives, i.e. showers, well stocked bathrooms, towels, Gi's for hire, ironing equipment, hairdryer, straightening iron, hanging space for work clothes.
•   An array of the highest quality training gear and clothing as well as healthy food products.
•   A great team of teachers as well as regular guest instructors from all over Australia and the world for members.

The base of Arte Suave is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which requires conditioning, fitness, flexibility and relaxation.  Arte Suave provides students with the support they need to achieve their goals in BJJ while enhancing their fitness and fortitude.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is based on a curriculum created by our teachers: Anker Fuglsang, Jeremy Juhas, Nick Lovison and Justin Bennetts.

Harnessing their experience and expertise enables us to provide a thorough, finely tuned system of teaching BJJ that can accommodate all levels, sizes and ages.

Yoga focuses on flexibility, posture, rejuvenation and strength and will improve both your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and overall health.  Relaxation, meditation and clearing the mind are important aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Primal Conditioning is a unique style of conditioning using only body weight based on a mixture of animal movements.  Designed to strengthen your core, improve cardio, flexibility and to create agility, primal conditioning provides general functional fitness for adults and children of all fitness levels, it is designed to enhance skills in martial arts, sports and in every aspect of daily life.

Gravity is our custom designed rock climbing room with varying levels of difficulty, slope and grips.
