Thinking of you guys. We're excited to be tidying up and making the centre better for our next term of fun together. We recently attended some training with Mark Armitage on 'Playwork' and it was pretty inspiring and are looking forward to sharing these ideas with you.

Medieval Dads Playgroup

Calling all Shield Maidens, Knights, Princes and Princesses. Come dressed up to our Medieval Day. Make your own cardboard armour and test your metal with ‘combat’ training then enjoy medieval games from yesteryear.

Iftar Community Dinner

COMMUNITY IFTAR DINNER June 8th | 4:45pm - 7:00pm Harmony on Carmody Cafe Carpark Iftar is the meal shared after sunset to break the fast during the Muslim month of Ramadan. Access in conjunction with the Queensland Intercultural Society will be hosting a Community Iftar Dinner in the Harmony on Carmody Café carpark on the corner of Ewing Rd and Carmody St in Logan Central. It's FREE and EVERYONE is welcome. Promoting generosity, respect and kindness, this Community Iftar Dinner is a way of breaking down cultural barriers through shared food and friendships. So bring your friends, family and neighbours and join us for dinner and a local celebration of our diverse, multicultural community.

Remember the little paper people that we decorated at our New Year Party at the start of this year? Well they're now on display at the Logan Art Gallery! Today the installation was launched by Mayor Luke Smith and he read us all "The Cow Tripped Over the Moon". (He's actually pretty awesome at reading stories). Go and check it out and see if you can find your little paper person. :-)

🌿 Brisbane 🌿 ... The beautiful woman behind our Christmas organisation "The Family Place" Debbie. Debbie runs and co-ordinates a safe place for families who have very little. Families in crisis, abused, neglected, financial hardships, you name it she supports them. She provides a safe environment for them every single day and drives an hour each way just to be able to give them this space and to give them support and hope. We love Debbie and she loves us! We cannot wait to see the photos of your Monday Christmas event and to see the children and their mama's receiving the gifts we donated ❤️🎄 #babesandpicnics #babesandpicnicsbrisbane
