Today’s card is Commitment! We all have commitments, daily weekly, monthly, yearly!! There are always plenty of commitments to stay committed to :) I haven’t posted for a while as I have been keeping an important commitment to self and that is one of replenishing. I love what I do and am extremely grateful that helping people feel better and grow is part of my job. I also must keep growing and nurture myself, so that I am at my best for my clients, my family and in my relationships. This is all part of loving yourself, one of my favourite sayings is “Fill your cup first’ (Nourish yourself in order to help others) Make sure you take some time out this weekend! Trust Trust is a word that I have come to TRUST:) During our life we are often advised to trust. Trust yourself, follow your gut, trust your intuition, you will know when the time is right, don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable and follow the signs. These are a few ways of expressing the same meaning. How do I know? I don’t know how to trust myself! What if I’m wrong....? Well guess what, this is where the trust comes in:) I will attempt to help you understand my understanding of the FEELING of trust and how to know when to Trust... When I am faced with major life decisions, I FEEL the answer or the correct path. FIRST, I analyse the options, see myself forward in situations and certain outcomes. Which one makes me feel warmth and comfort, which one gives me butterflies in the stomach, makes me anxious, brings up fear, or makes me feel safe, but still not quite happy etc.…? I then go deeper into what my feelings are showing me. Is the fear warranted and I know without a doubt this is the wrong path, or is it because this path is difficult and a challenge? Am I playing it safe? What makes me anxious about this choice etc.…? Once I have recognised my true feelings. I go inwards once more to ponder my choices, when I feel excitement, comfort or expansion, I take note, then, I LET GO! This my friends, feels like a weight has been lifted and a warm glowing energy surrounds me, then I know! Then I surrender, TRUST and move forward! Just remember life is forever evolving, even if the path you choose doesn’t quite work out the way you expected, you will always eventually land where you need to be, richer for the experiences.
