You probably haven't heard much about it as we were initially going to open to young couples, but have since decided to open a general one and see what fruit comes of it :) So, we're meeting for our first official meeting TONIGHT at 7:30pm at our place for coffee and dessert. Hello Young Adults! It's that time of year again where the Free Fun Day is fast approaching! Young Adults have traditionally ran the Fairy Floss and popcorn stall - one of the most popular (and fun) stalls of the day. Many hands are needed to create and hand out these yummy goods. As the free fun day is free, each stall is self supporting - so please consider if you're able to give financially, even if you're not able to volunteer on the day. I've personally found it such a rewarding event to be a part of - it's a fantastic way to interact with our community and to show them a taste of God's ever abounding love. The day has raised many conversations about the motive for such an overwhelmingly generous event; plus it's a privilege to see the church of warragul working together. I'll be looking at a rostered system so even if you're only able to give a small amount of time, every little bit helps! Help to set up and pack up is also required.
