From Helen Lawrance Well after some very long days and even longer nights, I would just like to thank all those who made the running of the inaugural Sunday program of the 2017 Warragul A & P show, a very pleasant,relaxed and successful event. There are many people to thank for making this event possible and I could never have managed to coordinate the day without each and every one them. To the 9 judges and their stewards, an invaluable team of people, who willingly give up their time to come and stand in the sun for the day and help everyone achieve their goals, thank you !! Shows don't run with a good amount of sponsorship and to everyone who donated cash, garlands and trophies, your support is greatly appreciated and I thank each and everyone of you. A huge thank you to the society's treasurer, who after spending all week in the show office, show day in the office and into the evening, then turning up at 7am Sunday, to do late entries and many trips to the kitchen to make sure all of the officials were very well fed and watered. Maria, I hope you got to rest today, you were a lifesaver 🙂 A big thank you to all the competitors, I had some great feedback from you and many things to take on board for the coming year. Congratulations to you all and thank you all for coming. My final thanks goes to my family and friends who all helped in many ways to make this event happen. I love you all. So after all my thank you's i might now get some sleep myself

The #WarragulShow would like to say a big thank you to Paul Stafford of carv-it-up chainsaw art for the carving of the magnificent owl at the #WarragulShow yesterday. Melly's Paint N Plaster will be in the Exhibition Hall all day Saturday! Lots of great plaster pieces to choose from!! You can paint your chosen piece and leave it to dry while you check out the rest of the Show, and then pick it up later!!
