***MEET A MEMBER***💪🤗 Meet Mike! You'll regularly spot Mike training in the free weights area. He started back at The Works Gym around 2 years ago. Mikes favourite area to train is the chest, he enjoys spending time at the beach and loves to travel but, wishes he could do it more often (like the rest of us 😉). Mike keeps a healthy lifestyle choosing to keep his carbs low, eat high protein and healthy fats. 🍳🍗🥑🥜 Mikes advise, "To anyone starting off in the gym keep it basic and do it well but, do not over train." Couldn't agree more Mike👍 From all the staff, we'd like to thank you for being with us at The Works Gym.

TRAINER WORKOUT!!! 🙌🙌 Here is what I did today, give it a go and see how you hold up 😁 10 x 4 sets / 45 sec rest - Lat Pull Down 15 x 4 sets / 70 sec rest - Cable Chest Flys 12 x 4 sets / 45 sec rest - Seated Row 20 x 3 sets / 70 sec rest - Stand Cable Bicep Curl (<2 minutes transition between exercise) Remember to warm up before + stretch after 🤙 -Adam

***MEET A MEMBER***💪🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ Meet Chris and Barbara! They started together at The Work Gym around 7 months ago after seeing the $5 Low Impact Class under The CHANGE Project (Healthy living program) that the Toowoomba Council supports. At first, they attended only 1 class. Now they go to majority of the Low Impact - Strength, Stretch, Cardio/Core, Boot Camp + Pilates and Yoga. Due to their new love for the gym they have purchased snazzy new shoes. 👟👟😍 Chris and Barb recommend people give it go as the classes are not competitive and have a lovely social atmosphere. Next time you see this couple around say hi. Thank you Chris and Barb. We hope you continue with us on your fitness journey for many more years. 👏
