On Wednesday 1 February 2017 at 7 pm we will celebrate the Divine Liturgy for the Presentation or Meeting of our Lord in the temple when Simeon and Anna received the Saviour for whom they had hoped and prayed. "Tell us, Symeon. Who are you holding in your arms, in the temple rejoicing? Who are you speaking to and saying, "Now I am set free, for I have seen my Savior. He is the One born of a Virgin; He is God, the Word of God, who became incarnate for us and saved humanity. Let us worship Him." - from Vespers for the Presentation.

This Sunday, 29 January 2017 we remember the faith of the Canaanite woman who kept pleading with Christ to cast a demon out of her daughter (Matthew 15:21-28). She is a model for us of being persistent in our prayer and never ceasing to bring our needs and the needs of others before Christ in prayer. Our services this Sunday are: 9:15 am Morning Prayer 10:30 am Divine Liturgy All services in Arabic and English All are welcome.

This Sunday, 22 January 2016, we remember the Gospel story of St Zacchaeus and our Lord's mission to seek and save the lost. "At that time, Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. And there was a man named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector, and rich. And he sought to see Who Jesus was, but could not, on account of the crowd, because he was small of stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Jesus, for He was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, 'Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today.' So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. And when they saw it they all murmured, 'He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.' And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, 'Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.' And Jesus said to him, 'Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost.'" - Luke 19:1-10 Our Sunday services are: 9:15 am Morning Prayer 10:30 am Divine Liturgy All services in Arabic and English. All are welcome.

"At that time, as Jesus entered a village, He was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” When He saw them He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving Him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:12-19 On Sunday 15 January 2016 our services are: 9:15 am Morning Prayer 10:30 am Divine Liturgy Services in English and Arabic. All welcome.
